The Department of Surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center offers an ACGME-accredited General Residency Training Program.  In general, residency training is six postgraduate years, which includes one year of research.

Applicants must use the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) in order to apply through the National Residency Match Program (NRMP). Please visit the Prospective Trainee and Current Residents tab on the Graduate Medical Education office webpage for further details on resident salary, benefits, and other useful information regarding residency training at Harbor-UCLA.

Interview dates for the intern class entering residency in 2021 will be held virtually on selected Wednesdays during the months of November and December 2020.
